Bought a brand new Movado watch for my husband for Christmas. It arrived, He was sooooo excited, until he opened it.
They sent us a damaged watch. So I worked with customer service, did what they told me, drove the watch to fedex to ship it back for repair or replace. It has been a while but they finally get back to me to say that the watch is out of stock and they, without talking to me, issued a PARTIAL refund to my credit card (which by this point is fully paid off, thank you very much). They refunded most of the watch price but kept $107 until I complained about it then a second refund for $107 was issued.
Cheaters!!! Now i have a credit on a credit card, I am out all of that money until i go purchase something else on that credit card, WHAT?! Not only that but my husband now does not get the watch he was so excited about and i have a credit card overpay.. So i talk to a manager who says it should not have gone down that way (i mean I spoke to the manager AFTER speaking to a condescending customer service rep who told me in essence "too bad, so sad, deal with it") and said she would send me a 3 month promo code to hopefully get the price back down to what i initially spent, yikes.
But here's the kicker, she never actually sent the promo code, she just said she did. I cannot believe Movado is this terrible... MOVADO DID US WRONG!!!
I will update once I know the final conclusion... I am hoping they fix this and mend the damaged relationship.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund.
I returned 2 items I purchased online using the return label provided by them. I sent the items back in the original form and packaging.
I only got refunded for 1 item and I have reach out numerous times to them, and they fail to reply. I have been told that my items were received, and I will get my money refunded, than another person stated they only received 1 item and a supervisor will call me on the phone and this been happening for 4 days and no response or refund.

The battery was tested and it was just that the battery. How do I know I received a new battery?
Just when the links were placed in my watch I paid for new battery that lasted 4 four months? The manager did replace the battery again and thanked me for being patient. His service was excellent. So how long is this battery supposed to last from 07/11/2024.
He stated that I would have to pay for the next one. Well I paid for the first on that only lasted four months. Yes I was told cause my watch was old they suggested the something was wrong with it. When in in fact it was a defective battery.
Customer derive is just not what it use to be. The other representatives fill like the is good business?
Thank you to the manager changed my battery, I hope I got a new one, thank you Mavado my watch is working again for the battery I originally paid for! Cant show a picture because the repairs are done behind closed doors!

The representative in the store said she was not comfortable in changing or opening the watch. That my watch was and older model, asking me when did I receive the wate, how many months ago.
I fill that when I received the watch is none of her business and if she is representative of Mavodo , just service my watch and the personnel details of when it was given to me is non of her business. Just do your job and provide excellent customer service.That I had to wait for a manager to come who has been with the company longer. They will not be in until for one and the other 0130 hrs. Now I have to wait for someone to come in.
I can say that I hate to waste my time I do appreciate her honesty about not know how to change a battery.
Movade should at least share with their employees on how to chang a battery. The service make you not want to invest in this company anymore.

Long story short, this is the second time Ive been *** by your company. But what do I expect from a cheap Chinese movement and a *** fashion brand?
Ive spent $800 on the museum classic, and then another $900 on another Movado for my mother, and we both didnt even get two years out of the thing. Now your customer service refuses to do anything about it, well unless I pay more money to get it shipped over to you and fixed.
I would say shame on you, but I guess Im the bigger *** for giving you a second chance with my hard earned money.
I have a three line phone, six email addresses, and way too much time on my hands. I am your worst nightmare, Movado. I Will make it my lifes mission to ensure everyone knows what a horrible company you are.

Long story short, I bought two Mavado watches, one for myself and one for my mother. It is a shame that neither of these watches lasted more than a couple years. But what do I expect from a cheap Chinese movement?
Now, despite countless emails and Communications between myself and the brand, they refuse to rectify the problem. I would say shame on you Mavado, but I guess Im the bigger *** for spending $800 on a fashion brand watch not once, but twice.
I will spend the rest of my life advocating and spreading awareness of how awful both the time pieces and customer service offered by Movado is.

Bought a watch one year it's broke after three months I continue to break I continue to break after that takes 6 months to get a watch back and then it broke again in two months do not buy any Movado
Customer if your watch breaks customer service is no help and getting you watch repair a new watch their watches break constantly they have your watch more than you will have it do not buy a Movado watch

The clasp on the watch broke after one year.
After two years the watch kept stopping but would start up again after I reset the time.
After three years i had the battery replaced. The watch didn't work at all and I was told that it would need a tune up for $200. Warranty was only for one year.
I just tossed it.
